Training Opportunities/Meetings

First FD Training in Utah WPDN member and First Detector Traininer, Dick Hoenisch, trained 30 First Detectors in Kaysville, Utah, on October 17, 2007.  The participants consisted of Utah State Cooperative Extension and Utah State Department of Agriculture and Food Staff.  It was hailing and snowing, with bouts of thunder and lightening, and hovering around 35F.  This was the first official FD training in Utah.  Kent Evans (Utah State Pathologist and NPDN member) and Dick hope to develop a FDE program on his next visit.
